Natural Skin Care Sample

Natural skin care products are skin care products with ingredients that are sourced naturally and do not contain harmful chemicals. These ingredients might be obtained through plants, or anything that is naturally formed and does not incorporate the use of chemicals. Proper skin care is not just hygienic but can also decrease the likelihood of disease. Skin is made up of three layers, epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous fat. The upper layer, epidermis is rather transparent. It allows light to pass through. The second layer or dermis contains blood vessels, nerves, hair roots and sweat glands. Below the dermis lies a layer of fat cells, called the subcutaneous fat. Wrinkles, cellulite, scars, acne, dermatitis, rashes and other skin related ailments can be diminished and sometimes repaired completely with the proper care and maintenance.
Skin care samples can be an excellent strategy in determining what works the best in addressing your specific aging skin concerns. An ideal natural skin care product is a product that has ingredients that are 100% natural and does not even contain chemical preservatives – although may not always be achievable. Most skin care products are made with synthetically produced chemicals that produces undesired side effects. Aromatherapy, the art of healing with pure essential oils, can have powerful effects on the skin. Popular ingredients for these natural products include sea salts, concentrated plant and flower extracts (essential oils), aloe vera, herbs, and are often times combined to achieve certain effects.
There are many examples of natural products around these days, blending age old wisdom with modern technology. Collagen is the main protein of our connective tissue as well as the most abundant protein in our body; the tough bundles of collagen fibers are a major component of the cell structure matrix that supports most tissues and is also found inside certain cells. The other key component is elastin, also a protein in connective tissue that has elasticity, allowing many tissues in the body to resume their shape after stretching or contracting. Elastin helps skin to relax back into its original position when it is poked or pinched. While collagen and elastin cannot be absorbed through the skin, natural skin care with carefully formulated ingredients can help stimulate your bodys production of collagen and elastin, as well as helping to protect them from degradation.
Skin care is an important part of personal care. Skin care includes and goes beyond the simple aspect of personal grooming. A healthy skin is more valuable than just appearance. Many commercial products contain artificial colorants and scents, alcohol and astringents, and are not suitable for everyone, especially people with sensitive skin. Another natural ingredient is olive oil. This was used by Italian woman for hundreds of years. It made their skin soft and line-free. Citrus juices and sea salts are good for oily skin and other types of oils and dairy products are good for those with sensitive skins. Alpha and Beta-Hydroxy Acids that loosen dead skin cells from the surface are another example of skin care tips that leave a smoother, softer layer of skin.
Herbal Skin Care

Skin care is not a topic of recent times; it has been in practice since ancient times, when herbal skin care was probably the only way to take care of skin. However, skin care has transformed in a big way. Herbal skin care routines have been replaced by synthetic/chemical-based skin care routines. The herbal skin care recipes which once used to be common place are not so popular today (and even unknown to a large population). This transformation from herbal skin care to synthetic, can probably be attributed to two things our laziness (or just the fast pace of lives) and the commercialisation of skin care. Even herbal skin care products have been commercialised. These commercial herbal skin care products have to be mixed with preservatives in order to increase their shelf-life, hence making them less effective than the fresh ones made at home. However, it seems that things are changing fast and more people are now opting for natural and herbal skin care routines. But still, none want to make them at home and hence the commercial market of herbal skin care products is on the rise.
So what are these herbs or herbal skin care mechanisms?
Aloe vera, which is an extract from Aloe plant, is one of the best examples of herbal skin care product. Freshly extracted aloe vera is a natural hydrant that helps in soothing skin. It also helps in healing cuts and treating sun burns.
A number of herbs are known to possess cleansing properties. Dandelion, chamomile, lime flowers and rosemary herbs, are a few examples of such cleansers. Their herbal skin care properties get invoked when they are combined with other herbs like tea.
Antiseptics are another important part of Herbal skin care. Lavender, marigold, thyme and fennel are good examples of herbs that are known to possess antiseptic properties. Lavender water and rose water also form good toners.
Tea plays an important part in herbal skin care. Tea extracts are used for treatment of skin that has been damaged by UV radiation.
Oils prepared from herbal extracts present another means of herbal skin care. Tea tree oil, Lavender oil, borage oil and primrose oil are some popular oils used in herbal skin care. Some fruit oils (e.g. extracts from fruits like banana, apple and melon) find use in shower gels (as a hydrating mix)
Homeopathic treatments and aromatherapies also come under the umbrella of herbal skin care remedies.
Herbal skin care is good not only for the routine nourishing of skin but also for treatment of skin disorders like eczema and psoriasis. Most herbal skin care products dont have any side effects (the most important reason for preferring them over synthetic products) Moreover, herbal skin care products can be easily made at home, hence making them even more attractive. So, herbal skin care is the way to go. However, this does not mean that you totally discard the synthetic products. Some people go to the extent of debating with their dermatologist, if he/she suggests a synthetic product. You should accept the fact that some skin orders might need usage of clinically proven non-herbal skin care products.

Timeless Herbs for Timeless Beauty: Classical and Secret Chinese Herbal Recipes for Aromatherapy and Skin Care (Journal of Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture)
In ancient China, it was a tradition of using aromatic herbs to please the mind, clean the skin, expel pathogens, and prevent diseases. Many of the recipes here can be used in aromatherapy. They can help soften and freshen the skin. Some recipes were specially designed to prevent and relieve problems including underarm or body odor, scabies, carbuncles, furuncles, and ulcers. They can help make the skin healthy and beautiful with a pleasant scent. These herbal recipes are selected and translated from ancient classical Chinese medicine books including Compendium of Materia Medica (Ben Cao Gang Mu), Medical Secrets of An Official (Wai Tai Mi Yao), and Prescriptions Worth A Thousand Pieces of Gold (Qian Jin Yao Fang). These recipes have been proven useful for hundreds of years by billions of people. Historical backgrounds of the recipes are introduced. Explanations in terms of Chinese medicine theories are provided for each recipe. Scientific studies of the herbal ingredients in each recipe are reviewed.

Believe In God Breath Spray Reviews

It took one little spritz.. My breath was fresher, mintier, and the taste of cigarettes was absolutely gone. I felt like I was kissing the holy mother herself. I got this strange sensation, waving through my whole body like electricity. Colors became brighter, everything was more vivid. Anything that moved left lingering, blurred trails. And then it happened.. I saw god.. He had long hair and a beard, loose fitting clothing and resembled my hippy roomate. He said “hey man! did you see a little spray bottle full of mint? I’ve been looking all over for it and I really need to find it now or we’ll be late for the Phish concert.” I handed it to god, a little hesitantly, who just just smiled and laughed. “Thanks dude, have a nice trip!” He even knew I had a long car ride ahead of me, but of course he did.. What a nice guy!

Aromatherapy With Valerie Ann Worwood
While this video may be titled Aromatherapy, it’s as much about self-massage as it is about treating yourself with essential oils. Valerie Ann Worwood is an excellent guide to the benefits of aromatherapy–using scents to soothe and heal–for the whole family, and the sections on how to give yourself a massage are alone worth the price of this tape. Worwood begins with the mixing of oils. The video sleeve contains a guide to which oils work for specific desired results (for instance, lemon oil is good for the body and soul, for use as a sedative, and for increasing concentration), and she mixes a few concoctions to illustrate. She then moves on to first aid, healing cuts and burns, stimulating aching feet, and helping a young child fall asleep. Next is aromatherapy in beauty regimes. The face massage is soothing, and she claims it will help release tension, increase circulation, improve texture, and revitalize the face. Scents in baths and showers follow, and then the section on stress, tension, and self-massage. The self-massage is demonstrated slowly enough that it’s easy to follow. Who needs a masseuse? With Worwood as a guide, you can calm the aching muscles of your shoulders, neck, arm, breasts, hip, back, and bottom all by your lonesome (note: there is a bit of nudity in the demonstration). She finishes the video with environmental perfuming–scenting your living space. Warning: after viewing this video you may go overboard on purchasing the oils. But at least you and your home will be pleasingly aromatized. –Jenny Brown

Aromatherapy With Valerie Ann Worwood Reviews

Ms. Worwood outdoes herself in this creative video. Being one of my favorite authors on the subject: “The Complete Book Of Essential Oils & Aromatherapy,” and “The Fragrant Mind, Aromatherapy for Personality, Mind, Mood, and Emotions,” she brings her knowledge, wisdom, and years of experience onto the video screen in this wonderful and informative production. This video is a must for beginners, and experienced alike. It is great to read about various techniques, but even more so to actually see it being demonstrated before your eyes. It would be an excellent teaching aid for the classroom, and small group preasentations. The sections of her preasentation are at the right length that they don’t overload the viewer with too much information, and allow one to watch the video in increments if desired. I especially enjoyed the sections on “First Aid,” “Beauty,” and “Self Massage.” I was not at all offended by the brief nudity in this last section of the video, as my feeling is that it is a natural fact of life (not shameful in any respect), especially in light that this is a healing arts preasentation with techniques demonstrated in a mature, sober, but yet very enjoyable format.Being one who uses aromatherapy in every facet of life (as a spiritual discipline) and in my profession, I value a video like this very highly, and would recomend it to anyone interested in this fun and exciting art.

This is a great video, especially for those just beginning an interest in aromatherapy. Ms. Wormwood’s voice is very pleasant to the ear and she begins by demonstrating how to blend a few esential oils. She goes on to demonstrate and discuss the various uses of essential oils – medicinal, relaxation, massage, etc. A very interesting and instructive segment is a model demonstrating a self massage using essential oils. (I never thought about giving myself a massage, so I tried it and found it to be a soothing experience). This video is educational as well as relaxing to watch. You may find yourself wanting to experiment with essential oils right away.

Dynomighty Wallet – Postcard Reviews

I’m surprised as of my entry today NO ONE has reviewed ANY Might Wallets on Amazon.com ! I one this particular style (Newsprint) and I absoutely LOVE IT !!! 90% of the time I pay for something and take out this wallet someone will say something along the lines of “Cool wallet!” or “What a neat wallet !” – I then go into presentation mode, showing them how it can not be torn, it’s made of express mail paper, etc. I should also note I am not a kid but enjoy this fun wallet…I’m in my late 30′s for reference.
So if you are on the fence about trying this wallet, at the price you can not go wrong and you will enjoy it’s features as well as the glowing attention you will surely receive at the register. (Side note : I purchased this at a local art supply store so I do not know anything about this seller. I simply have gotten my 50th compliment in 3 months and wanted to give my feedback.)

I receive compliments about my Mighty
wallet every time I pull
it out. I transferred the contents from my old wallet and the Mighty Wallet is half as thick.

Skin Care With Medicinal Herbs

Before modern industrialization, skin care was limited to recipes utilizing medicinal herbs for skin. Now, herbal skin care products have been tucked away as obsolete inventions of the past because industrialization has completely revolutionized skin care to be shiny plastic bottles of chemicals. The switch from herbs to synthetics is due to two primary factors: one being modern slothfulness (which is a byproduct of a fast-paced lifestyle) and the other where skin care is viewed more as a business than an important health regimen.
There are a plethora companies devoted to producing herbal skin care products, but these cant compare to homemade versions because preservatives have been planted in them to augment their shelf-life. Even though the herbal route is becoming increasingly popular with todays crowd, people still abstain from homemade compounds which fuel the continuing commercialization of herbal skin care. Of course there are the Xtend-Life line of products, which are fascinating, so dont rule these out when youre doing your searching.
So how do these herbs and herbal skin care systems work?
Say hello to aloe vera. Its an extract derived from the aloe plant and helps to hydrate as well as pacify the skin. It also helps people recover from cuts and painful sun burns.
There are tons of herbs which cleanse. Those include dandelions, chamomile, and rosemary. Their cleansing properties are sparked once mixed with other medicinal herbs such as tea.
There are a number of herbs which are antiseptics. Those include lavender, marigold, and fennel. You can also make lavender water and rose water to use as skin toners.
The use of tea isnt limited to beverage consumption; its a great example of one of the medicinal herbs for skin care. It revitalizes skin that has suffered from overexposure to ultra violet rays.
You ever heard that not all fats are bad? The same can be said for oils. Not all oils are bad. You can find several oil extracts as important components in an herbal skin care system. Some highly endorsed oils include tea tree, lavender, borage, and primrose. Some companies use fruit oils (usually sourced from melons and bananas) in their cleansing gels.
Anything that is considered homeopathic or an aromatherapy is categorized as medicinal herbs for skin care.
If you need to treat skin diseases such as eczema or psoriasis, you can also use herbal skin care products. What makes these herbs so appealing is the fact that they rarely come with side effects upon use (something synthetic products usually dont promise). Herbal skin care has recipes any person can concoct at home. While there are many positives associated with herbal remedies, synthetic products should not be entirely discarded. Herbal skin care doesnt treat all skin disorders which is why sometimes a clinically-developed, chemical-based, non-herbal skin care product is necessary.
