I love eucalyptus and this candle smells nothing like it. It has an unnatural and unclean smell, something akin to burning trash. If you like the clean smell of eucalyptus, keep searching because this isn’t the candle for you.

I absolutely love these candles, all the scents are fantastic, plus I love that they are from natural rather than chemical sources. The tin does get very hot after you have been burning for a long time or the candle is low, so need to be careful, but other than that I absolutely love these candles and have ordered them multiple times in different varieties.

Although the candle was a little smaller than I had anticipated (it did have the size listed in the description so that was my own miscalculation) it smells wonderful, is great for when meditating or trying to unwind. When I first heard of the flameless candles, I kept thinking, ‘what a Godsend for a challenged, safety conscious household.’ I have a very large, inquisitive dog, that does not need to be around real flames. Also, my hubby has asthma, so we use scented candles infrequently; mostly during entertaining. So I loved the idea that some of the flameless candles offer optional diffusers, just for those special occasions. Also, that there is NO smoke, which itself can disturb allergies, and there is increasing scientific evidence, that toxins emitted burning candles, can be a health hazard.

However, some of the first flameless candles that I saw, did not look very realistic, at all; the lights did not flicker. Thank goodness, they are making progress, so that we can now bring them home and display them proudly, while increasing our safety.

I purchased the AromaSpa Candle and couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve had it for 3 months and I ritualistically turn it on almost every evening. I find it quite soothing and very realistic, with the flickering light. I have mine located where I am able to plug it in, unobtrusively. So, I generally leave it on until it turns itself off, in six hours. Since mine is plugged in, I have no problems using the diffuser, if I so desire, and it offers sufficient aroma to satisfy me, without overdoing it.

It just so happens, that I had a large, clear glass plate, that came with river rocks and three real candles. I had long ago used the candles but immediately thought that this candle would look great nestled in the plate of river rocks. I was right! It looks as though they came together and added to the elegance of the total picture. It is really attractive.

There are so many places where flameless candles can bring peace and tranquility, where real flames aren’t permitted. For the hospitalized patient. Anyone home-bound, or disabled that might not want to deal with managing a real candle. For that forgetful senior citizen, or the teen, that you just don’t trust with real candles in their room, just yet. A dull office, or a little cube space, could sure be brought to life and maybe offer a Zen moment here, and there.

Okay, enough said! You can see I’m turned on by this candle and the idea of flameless candles, in general. I think you just might be, too.

I like the idea of combining fragrance with a candle effect.

Pros: can use any fragrance oil, low energy use, can leave unattended (out of the reach of children and pets)

Cons: fragrance warmer does not work with batteries alone – in order to have both the candle and the fragrance warmer work, you must plug it in. Does not throw the fragrance particularly well – could use a little fan or room for more oil, candle does not look as real as other flameless candles I’ve seen, the river rocks don’t serve a function and look a bit odd to me.

I’ve always loved patchouli… but wasn’t sure about frankincense. I bought this because I liked the idea of a natural, toxin-free candle with my favorite patchouli scent. I had it sitting in my home office for the longest time before I finally lit it up today. All I can say is… nirvana. It has an incredible smell and is very relaxing. (Not exactly conducive to working, but takes away any work stress and anxiety!) My only complaint is that it’s smaller than I thought it was. The candle itself is probably only about 2 inches in diameter. I know it lasts a pretty long time, but I wish it was offered in a larger size. I’d get one for every room in the house! As it is, a candle this size is probably just right for my smallish office when I have the doors closed. I think the aroma would get lost in our living room or other larger rooms because the candle is not quite large enough.

I bought a Plantlife Tangerine & Lavender a few weeks ago to try out. I love candles and most of the ones I buy smell good but don’t last very long or they lose their scent. This candle however does not! I have been burning this candle a lot for the last few weeks and it has the other ones beat! The wonderful scent has stayed the same since I bought it and it seems like I’ve barely used it because its lasted so long!! I’m very happy with this product and will buy in the future. I’ve never been a giant fan of lavender scented things, so I didn’t expect to be much impressed by this particular bottle of essential oil from my starter kit from PlantLife. But its soft, pleasingly sweet but cool fragrance instantly changed my opinion of lavender! I don’t know how I’ve managed to live 24 years without experiencing TRUE lavender in this form, but it has definitely been worth the wait.

This product helps me SLEEP!

For some of you that might not be a big deal. My husband, for instance, falls asleep almost before he manages to get horizontal (the pinhead)– but I have ALWAYS had an enormous amount of difficulty dropping off. My mind just seems to whirl and agonize and fret and churn until I’m so frustrated and exhausted that sleep is completely impossible.

Now, using a few drops of this oil on a cotton ball or tissue and breathing it in for a few minutes in bed, I can actually fall asleep within half an hour. That is COMPLETELY unheard of for me. I am soooo grateful and excited about this newfound ability to gain restful slumber!

I know this oil can be used for many other things, but I highly recommend this product especially to anyone who has difficulty falling asleep or relaxing. And it’s so inexpensive, what is there to lose?

Pleasant calming fragrance. Put a couple drops on a cotton ball and place on night stand or near pillow. Fragrance calms and soothes to help sleep. Seems to work better each night as one associates fragrance with sleep; fall asleep faster.

I love this Ultimate Essential Oil Set because economically speaking this is a wonderful collection; it would have cost me a great deal more money had I made several separate purchases of the same items included in this kit. I know this because I’ve been pricing these for quite a while. Factor in the price of shipping you’ll only paying .50 per bottle. There are 32 bottles in the set.

Now speaking of the bottles these are the perfect size; they’re not too much because it would suck to get stuck with a fragrance you don’t like, and they’re not too little because a few drops go a long way; the fragrance is very potent. The lemon smells like lemon and the lavender smells like lavender. I’m looking forward to mixing these oils with both of my favorite a carrier oils–Jojoba or Almond oil–to make my own perfumes and body sprays.Ultimate Aromatherapy Essential Oil Set- 32/10 ml

I gave it 4.5 stars [pretend it's 4.5] instead of five because no booklet comes with this set at all. So buy one of the many books listed here on Amazon about essential oils [like I did], or get the information online for free if you have the time to do the research.

I ordered 13 bottles of essential oils from this company in late March (paid with PayPal). When they arrived in early April and I opened them, it was clearly evident that these are not pure essential oils but are cut with petroleum derivatives since all of the oils smelled like scented turpentine. I looked at the company return policy which requires that one has a RMA or RGA number. I contacted them to let them know I was dissatisfied with their product and asked for a number so I could return them. They provided the number, I repackaged the oils in their original shipping material and box and sent them via USPS with delivery confirmation. The oils arrived back at the company on April 9. As of the writing of this review, April 30, and despite repeated emails to them, I have not received a refund despite the fact that they claim a 3-5 business day refund policy. Let the buyer beware.
